1. During the daily inspection of MGPS, the operator shall first read the meter and record the parameters of MGPS.

When sailing in the freshwater area or in the freshwater river sea water mixing area, the decrease of the conductivity of water will also lead to the increase of current. On the other hand, the excessive production of sodium hypochlorite will aggravate the generation of magnesium hydroxide (i.e., the white paste attached to the MGPS electrode body during cleaning). At this time, it is necessary to turn off the MGPS. In addition, it is also necessary to turn off the MGPS during hull welding.
